12 lifeguards and activities staff of the newly renovated Parkroyal Penang, now clad in new bold orange colored uniforms, enforced new safety procedures by the hotel poolside garden. "Safety is importantly recognized at Parkroyal, and constant training programmes are planned to ensure that members of staff are highly knowledgeable in excellent safety skills and most importantly, in providing good quality service for guests," explained resort rooms division manager Mr Daljit Singh Gill. "Now our lifeguards are visible to guests relaxing and lazing by the poolside, and especially with them seated on the three new lifeguard highchairs, on the look-out to ensure safety," told resort general manager Mr Mark Losi.

According to resort human resources manager, En Abdul Halik Ibrahim, consistent staff training programs are carried out to maintain service excellence within our resort.
